The concentration of pollutants in chemical wastewater is extremely high, the composition is complex, and it is difficult to degrade. After pre-treatment, the concentration of pollutants such as COD and ammonia nitrogen in coal chemical wastewater has been degraded to a certain extent, while difficult to degrade organic compounds are almost not released in biochemical treatment engineering. Therefore, it is necessary to undergo advanced treatment for biochemical effluent to meet the discharge standards of the effluent. At present, the most widely used advanced treatment technology in coal chemical wastewater treatment is Advanced oxidation process, mainly including ozone oxidation technology, heterogeneous catalysis ozone oxidation technology, supercritical water oxidation technology, photocatalytic oxidation technology, etc. Supercritical oxidation has been applied in European and American countries such as the United States, Germany, Sweden, and Japan, but research in China started relatively late and is still in the laboratory research stage. Our company plans to introduce supercritical oxidation method for coal chemical wastewater and further research innovative technologies. Supercritical water oxidation (SCWO) technology is the homogeneous oxidation and decomposition of organic matter using supercritical water as the medium. Organic pollutants can be decomposed into small inorganic molecules such as CO2 and H2O in a short time, while sulfur, phosphorus and nitrogen atoms can be converted into sulfate, phosphate, nitrate and nitrite ion ions or nitrogen respectively. The United States lists the SCWO method as the most promising waste treatment technology in the energy and environmental fields. SCWO has a fast reaction rate, short residence time, and high oxidation efficiency. Most organic matter treatment rates can reach over 99%. The reactor structure is simple, the equipment volume is small, and the treatment range is wide. It can not only be used for the treatment of various toxic substances, wastewater, and waste, but also for the decomposition of organic compounds without external heating. The treatment cost is low, and the selectivity is good. By adjusting temperature and pressure, the density, viscosity, and The diffusion coefficient and other physicochemical properties can alter its solubility in organic matter, achieving the goal of selectively controlling the reaction products.
