Hebei Province Organizes a Series of Activities to Extend Chinese New Year Greetings to High-caliber Foreign Experts

On January 12, on the occasion of the Spring Festival, Hebei Provincial Department of Science and Technology (Hebei Provincial Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs) carried out a series of activities to extend Chinese New Year greetings to high-caliber foreign experts. Guo Yuming, Level I Counselor of Hebei Provincial Department of Science and Technology, led a team to visit Hebei University of Science & Technology and Shijiazhuang Foreign Language Education Group. Level I Counselor Guo Yuming extended best regards and Chinese New Year greetings to the foreign experts there, and presented them with flowers and New Year gifts with Chinese characteristics. He thanked them for their useful proposals and contribution to Hebei's economic and social development.

On the same day, Hebei Provincial Department of Science and Technology (Hebei Provincial Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs) held the Spring Festival symposium with high-caliber foreign experts in Hebei Province. Seven foreign expert representatives voiced their opinions and suggestions. They said that through this event, they came to recognize the intensified efforts and excellent services of Hebei Provincial Department of Science and Technology (Hebei Provincial Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs). They would continue to actively participate in Hebei's sweeping and high-momentum practice for reform and development, help Hebei speed up the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, foster and develop strategic emerging industries, and encourage more foreign experts and international friends to make accomplishments in Hebei. Relevant leaders from Hebei Provincial Department of Science and Technology (Hebei Provincial Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs) and the municipal bureaus of science and technology (the municipal administrations of foreign experts affairs), and 36 foreign experts from 13 countries, participated in the event online and offline.

Looking back over the past year, foreign experts from different countries enthusiastically went to Hebei to carry out enterprising work, dedicated their wisdom to Hebei, and worked hard in Hebei, thus strongly supporting and promoting Hebei's economic and social development. Foreign experts play a unique role in various fields and have become an important force in the construction of an economically strong and beautiful Hebei Province.
