The preliminary round of the first Hebei Province Overseas Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has been successfully held!

From March 22nd to 23rd, the preliminary round of the first Hebei Province Overseas Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, hosted by the Hebei Provincial Department of Science and Technology (Provincial Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs) and hosted by the Hebei (Shijiazhuang) Overseas Talent Offshore Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base, was successfully held.

The main goal of this competition is to vigorously introduce high-level talent teams from home and abroad to innovate and start businesses in Hebei Province, focusing on the needs of economic and social development in Hebei Province. The aim is to stimulate innovation enthusiasm, create a new entrepreneurial ecosystem of "co creation and win-win situation at home and abroad", and assist in the high-quality development of our province.

The competition involves three fields: biopharmaceuticals, equipment manufacturing, and next-generation information technology. The organizing committee has received over 200 entries for the competition. To ensure the quality of the competition, the organizing committee organized expert evaluations and selected over 100 domestic and foreign innovation and entrepreneurship projects to enter the preliminary round.

The preliminary round of the competition lasts for two days and is conducted in the form of an 8-minute roadshow and a 7-minute defense, both online and offline. The judges and experts asked questions and scored according to the evaluation rules, and each contestant was well prepared. They displayed and played at the preliminary stage with the best state and full enthusiasm, actively and enthusiastically engaging in Q&A interactions with the evaluation experts.

The preliminary round will select 30 high-level innovation and entrepreneurship projects to advance to the finals. The finals will be held in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province from March 27th to 28th. To ensure that all participants can meet the finals in the best condition, the organizing committee of the competition will organize expert training, provide pre final guidance for the participating projects, and polish the speech content.

Hebei (Shijiazhuang) Overseas Talent Offshore Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base will continue to gather overseas high-tech talents, projects, resources, and international innovation elements, gather innovation resources at home and abroad, and provide comprehensive project landing service guarantees for competition projects. At the same time, we will continue to promote high-quality exchange and docking between enterprises in Hebei Province and overseas high-quality technologies, projects, and talents, and strive to promote the landing of more creative, actionable, valuable, and promising overseas talents and new entrepreneurial projects in Hebei.
