Tangshan No.1 Middle School

Tangshan No.1 Middle School, also known as Tangshan No.1 Middle School, was founded in 1902. Its predecessor was Yongpingfu Middle School and Huaying Academy in Zhili Province. It was one of the earliest secondary schools in modern China and the alma mater of the great communist movement pioneer Li Dazhao. For more than a hundred years, the school has cultivated a large number of outstanding people for the country. Academicians Li Shuhua, Li Shutian, Song Shuhe, Zhang Weizhen, Shi Zhiren, Li Yaojuan, Fan Weitang, Gao Runlin, Fan Weicheng and other famous poets Li Ying, famous calligrapher Zhang Biao, and Wang Dianru, "the father of titanium in China", all graduated from this school. The Nova Scotia Department of Education is responsible for selecting and hiring local Canadian teachers and sending them to our school for teaching.
