Unit Introduction: Chengde Academy of Agriculture and Forestry is a branch of Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry, Tianjin Academy of Agriculture and Forestry, and Hebei Academy of Agriculture and Forestry. It has 8 professional research institutes, including the Institute of Medicinal Animals and Plants and the School of Landscape Architecture of Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry, which have conducted in-depth cooperation in the cultivation and planting of traditional Chinese medicine. It has also collaborated with the team of the Hebei Academy of Medicinal Animals and Plants Research Center The team of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Resource Center of the Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Chengde Medical College and the production and sales enterprises of traditional Chinese medicine in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region have long-term and comprehensive cooperation, rich scientific research experience, and the ability to undertake national, provincial, and municipal scientific research projects, as well as the technical strength of local traditional Chinese medicine research and development. In recent years, in-depth research has been conducted on the construction of authentic medicinal herb resource gardens in Chengde, research on standardized cultivation techniques and deep processing techniques for variety innovation, collection, domestication, cultivation and promotion of authentic wild Chinese medicinal herbs, standardization techniques for the introduction, breeding, storage and processing of improved varieties of animal and plant Chinese medicinal herbs, research on the selection and cultivation techniques of Chinese medicinal herb varieties such as medicinal and food homologous health specialty dishes, and the construction of a quality traceability system for Chinese medicinal herbs. We have undertaken 21 key scientific research projects at the provincial, ministerial, and municipal levels. We have successively won one first prize of the national level scientific and technological progress award, and won 12 provincial and municipal scientific and technological progress awards, with 26 approved varieties. The laboratory covers an area of 500 square meters and has 48 sets of instruments such as biological analyzers and near-infrared grain analyzers.
