Wang Pijun, the Chairman of the China Scholarship and Talent Development Foundation, proposed three suggestions in his speech. "Chinese path to modernization" has become the new requirement and new path for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation set by the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China for the whole party and the people of the country. The five characteristics of "Chinese path to modernization" and more characteristics that will continue to be displayed with the modernization practice, each of which provides a big and good stage for overseas students at home and abroad to vigorously promote the spirit of studying abroad and serving the country in contemporary China. The third is to seize the opportunity of the 110th anniversary of the founding of the China Association, and contemporary international students should bravely become innovative pioneers in assuming the responsibilities and missions of "talent pool", "think tank", and "new force". In recent years, European and American student associations have pioneered the creation of multiple brand carriers such as "talent pools," "think tanks," and "new forces," building diverse platforms to leverage the role of overseas students and have had a wide and profound impact. The China Foundation for the Development of Overseas Chinese Talents has made active explorations in assisting overseas Chinese students in innovation, entrepreneurship, and creation, focusing on the center and serving the overall situation. To encourage overseas returnees to actively participate in scientific and technological innovation, the Beijing Overseas Returnees Association for Science and Technology has awarded the "Golden Overseas Returnees Series Awards" and issued employment letters to the "Ninth Batch of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Mentors for Capital Overseas Returnees". In addition, this forum also set up parallel venues: the 2023 Investment Promotion and Signing Ceremony in Bijiang District, Tongren City, Guizhou Province. At the meeting, the Beijing Association of Returnees for Science and Technology signed a strategic framework for the three-year action plan of "Returnees to Guizhou" (Bijiang) with the government of Bijiang District, Tongren City.
