Research direction: The main business areas of material processing include material forming, core technology of mechanical manufacturing, high-frequency welded pipe seamless technology, and precision thickening forming technology. Currently, in the market, various seamless and welded pipes with a D/S (pipe diameter/wall thickness) ratio of 20 to 30 are approaching proliferation, with low technical barriers and no profit margin. However, the production of high-end thick walled pipes with small diameter to thickness ratios is difficult and profitable. Taking high-pressure oil pipes with a D/S (diameter/wall thickness) of 3.175 as an example, the vast majority of small diameter thick walled, precision, and ultra-high pressure pipes in the international market are produced and monopolized by two companies, Germany's Mannesmann Company and Japan's Usui Company. The expected target forging and rolling product has an ovality tolerance of ± 0.02mm, and the difference between the weld seam structure and the body structure is eliminated. The mechanical indicators such as tensile strength at the weld seam are ≥ the base material, and the thickness of the forging and rolling product increases by ≥ 50%. This will enable the trial production of high-frequency welded pipe based thick wall pipes and small-scale production. The company currently has 22 employees, 8 research and development teams, and 2 individuals with senior professional titles, most of whom have a graduate degree or above. It has published more than 10 papers and applied for 12 patents, including 4 international invention patents. The current research area is 600 square meters, with 25 sets of related instruments and equipment. Our company mainly engages in research related work, with a research expenditure of 747600 yuan in the previous year. The research expenditure accounted for 68.9% of the operating income in the previous year. Our company is the location of the first graduate workstation established by Beijing University of Science and Technology in the country. Currently, there are 5 doctoral students and more than ten master's students conducting relevant scientific research experiments in our company. With the support of Beijing University of Science and Technology, we have conducted similar research projects in the field of material processing, such as UTU research for locally heated bridges and research on cold hot composite formed sharp corner square tubes. And has formed an innovative cold and hot composite forming process, and has obtained 2 utility model patents and 7 invention patents related to it. Another two invention patents are expected to be authorized in July next year.
