On site, over a hundred overseas Chinese businessmen and high-level talents from nearly 40 countries and regions gathered together to explore new opportunities for exchange, cooperation, and win-win development.
Wang Lizhi, the chairman of Golden Eagle International Development Co., Ltd., who is visiting Qingdao this time, is from Weifang, Shandong Province and has been in business in New York for over 20 years. As the newly elected president of the United States Shandong Association Association in April this year, Wang Lizhi led more than ten overseas Chinese business representatives to participate in the "China Fair", involving fields such as commerce, technology, healthcare, education, and many projects urgently need to be implemented. They hope to comprehensively examine the current development situation in China through this trip, and hope to launch new cooperation by landing the project in Shandong.
Previously, I had participated in cultural activities in Qingdao and had a firsthand experience of the charm of Qingdao. Gao Yayu, President of the New Zealand China Culture and Art Exchange Association, was a member of this "China Fair". She has organized overseas artists to participate in cultural exchanges such as joint exhibitions in Beijing, Chengdu, Xi'an, and other places, and conducted Chinese cultural experience activities there.
In the eyes of Gao Yayu, whether it is her hometown Xiamen, her current residence in New Zealand, or the Qingdao she visited during this trip, they are all cities with rich marine cultural elements, and people's lifestyles are also relatively similar. Therefore, she plans to start docking with the three regions and engage in friendly exchanges in a novel form of "maritime culture and art", focusing on showcasing the cultural charm of the three regions, in order to achieve win-win results.
Liu Jinmei, Vice President of the Shandong Chamber of Commerce in Southern Africa, whose ancestral home is Qingdao, Shandong, said that this trip is his first return to his hometown after the epidemic. She stated that she visited the West Coast New Area of Qingdao four years ago, and now revisiting her hometown can be described as rapidly changing. The city's appearance, investment attraction, and business environment keep up with the times. Liu Jinmei stated that her company is currently seeking diversified development, and she looks forward to matching resources with Shandong cities such as Qingdao in the fields of artificial intelligence and biopharmaceuticals to carry out new cooperation and contribute her due strength to the development of her hometown.
Feng Shangwei, Deputy Director of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and Director of the Provincial Overseas Chinese Office, said that Shandong is one of the key overseas Chinese provinces in China. About 1.2 million Overseas Chinese from Shandong are distributed in nearly 100 countries and regions around the world. They actively promote trade exchanges and economic and technological cooperation between their host countries and Shandong, and actively participate in the construction of Shandong. He expects overseas Chinese to continue to care, support, and participate in the new round of development and progress in Shandong, and hopes that they will seek investment opportunities in more cities in Shandong to promote win-win development.
On the same day, on the basis of preliminary negotiations and connections, an investment project signing ceremony was held on-site, with 15 projects being signed. In addition, this event also held activities such as promotion of investment policies, project cooperation and exchange talks, and on-site inspections.

The "China International Trade Fair" is the largest overseas Chinese investment and talent attraction brand activity in Shandong. The theme of this year's "China International Trade Fair" is "Consolidating Overseas Chinese Cohesion and Win-win Cooperation", focusing on green, low-carbon, high-quality development, technological innovation, economic and trade exchanges, and other fields.
