      Recently, the Hebei Province Ecological Environment Project Promotion Conference and the China (Hebei) South Korea Ecological Environment Industry Docking and Exchange Conference were held in Chengde City.

     The conference is hosted by the Department of Ecology and Environment of Hebei Province, the Hebei Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the South Korean Environmental Industry Association. As an important international exchange event in the "China International Ecological Competitiveness Summit", this conference aims to further promote the market-oriented transformation of ecological environment projects, gather all parties' forces, construct a diversified investment pattern, and provide strong support for the continuous improvement of ecological environment quality.

     The relevant person in charge introduced that in recent years, Hebei has mobilized all parties to work together to promote pollution reduction, carbon reduction, green expansion, and growth, and has continued to deepen the implementation of the blue sky, clear water, and pure land defense war. In 2022, the average concentration of PM2.5 in each district and city decreased by 64.6% compared to 2013, and the number of excellent days reached 270 days. For the first time, 11 districts and cities have fully withdrawn from the top ten national key city air quality rankings; The proportion of surface water in the national examination section of the province reaching or better than Class III reached 84.4%, and Class V and inferior Class V sections were completely eliminated. The water quality of Baiyangdian stabilized from inferior Class V to Class III standards, and the proportion of excellent water quality in nearshore waters reached 91.8%.

     At the exchange meeting, the focus was on promoting the technology of organic matter magnetic thermal decomposition for recycling waste plastics, supercritical water oxidation+zero discharge technology of wastewater, air purification technology, and green textile technology. At the same time, organize provincial enterprises to engage in online and offline "one-on-one" communication with representatives of 13 South Korean enterprises in the fields of ecological environmental protection and low-carbon energy conservation.

     With the joint efforts of all parties, a total of 17 projects in Hebei Province, including EOD projects, investment projects from domestic and foreign enterprises, green credit and solid waste comprehensive utilization and disposal projects, have been signed on site, with a total investment of approximately 21.824 billion yuan. Among them, there are 5 EOD projects, including the integrated development of environmental governance and ecological industries in the Fuyang River Basin in Luquan District, Shijiazhuang City, and the integrated development of green industries in the Chaohe River Basin (Fengning Section) of Hebei Province in Fengning Manchu Autonomous County, Chengde City. Six investment projects from domestic and foreign enterprises, including kitchen waste treatment centers, sewage treatment chemicals, and environmental protection equipment production projects. Six green credit and solid waste comprehensive utilization and disposal projects, including Hebei Jiantao Energy Development Co., Ltd.'s annual utilization of 200000 tons.
