This exchange and docking meeting is a beneficial exploration carried out by the Shijiazhuang Science and Technology Bureau to introduce overseas intelligence and assist in the revitalization and high-quality development of rural industries. Invite 7 experts in the agricultural field from the Netherlands, Japan, Germany, and Taiwan to introduce new concepts, technologies, and varieties of rural industry revitalization both domestically and internationally through a combination of on-site and online platforms, promote international agricultural cooperation projects, and engage in exchanges and sharing around industrial revitalization. Leaders from the science and technology management departments of counties (districts) such as Shijiazhuang Science and Technology Bureau, Xinhua District, Luancheng District, Lingshou County, Yuanshi County, and Jingxing County led a team to attend the meeting. More than 120 people from relevant agricultural authorities, research institutions, agricultural colleges, agricultural enterprises, family farms, cooperative leaders, village and town cadres, and news media in Shijiazhuang and surrounding areas attended the on-site meeting. More than 1100 people participated in the meeting through online live streaming.
Ke Xu, Deputy Director of the Shijiazhuang Science and Technology Bureau and Director of the Foreign Trade Bureau, pointed out that industrial revitalization is the top priority of rural revitalization and an important support for promoting county level urbanization and urban-rural integration development. Technological innovation plays a strategic and leading role in the national economic and social development, and is the core driving force for high-quality development of enterprises. The Shijiazhuang Science and Technology Bureau has always adhered to technological innovation as a support for promoting rural revitalization and achieving high-quality development of agriculture and rural areas. On the one hand, it focuses on concept innovation and technological innovation supply, on the other hand, it focuses on achievement transformation, cultivates new driving forces for rural revitalization and development, accelerates the improvement of the internationalization level of agricultural science and technology innovation, constructs a new pattern of agricultural science and technology development, assists rural revitalization, and promotes the achievement of various work results.
Six experts attended the meeting, including Director of the Japan Nutrient Liquid Cultivation Research Association, Gangzhunzi, General Manager of Rene Dairy Co., Ltd. in Germany, Hatitunier, General Manager of Berg Earth Co., Ltd. in China, Zhang Zhenkui, Chief Representative of the China Affairs Office of the South Dutch Provincial Government, Zhou Ying, Technical Director of Taiwan Microbiology Technology International Co., Ltd., Zhang Muxing, and Senior Rural Ecological Industry and Cultural Tourism Expert Bao Dapeng from Taiwan, Bo Furong, a member of the Dutch Tomato World Board of Directors, participated in online communication.
At the meeting, experts shared and exchanged ideas on topics such as Japan's ecological agriculture technology, new tomato varieties with Japanese characteristics, German agricultural modernization and circular agriculture, Dutch agricultural technology promoting industrial development, rural tourism, and how fragrant plants can promote industrial revitalization. After preliminary docking and on-site communication, six on-site cooperation agreements have been signed, covering ecological breeding, circular agriculture, industrial upgrading, and talent introduction services.
This meeting also arranged on-site promotion and display of new agricultural varieties, technologies, and projects, which received high praise from the attendees.
