“Leadership by Technology, Coordinated Innovation” – 2023 Shijiazhuang Biomedical Industry Innovation and Development International Cooperation and Exchange Activities Held Successfully

Shijiazhuang Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology successfully hosted the 2023 Shijiazhuang Biomedical Industry Innovation and Development International Cooperation and Exchange Activities in Shijiazhuang High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. Mr. Ke Xu, Deputy Party Secretary and Deputy Director of Shijiazhuang Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology and Director of Shijiazhuang Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, attended and spoke on the event. More than 70 representatives from key universities and biomedical enterprises in Shijiazhuang and leaders from some county and district-level science and technology bureaus were present.  

Dr. Mario from the University of Trento, Italy, expert Han Jun, and Jiang Guohui, foreign academician of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, made targeted project promotion, signed with three enterprises, i.e., Kaisheng Pharmaceutical, Veyong Bio-Medical and Bio-High Technology, the intent of cooperation on talents and projects. Officials in charge of the science and technology departments of the high-tech industrial development zone and the economic and technological development zone briefed the audience on their current development of and preferential policies on biomedical industry. After the meeting, the experts paid an investigation visit to SJZ No. 4 Pharmaceutical medicine institute and Shijiazhuang University.

Next, Shijiazhuang Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology will continue to carry out the requirements of the municipal Party committee and municipal government, seize the major opportunities in the coordinated development in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, fortify coordinated innovation, attract more advanced, overseas talents, scientific achievements and other high-level innovation elements from Beijing and Tianjin to Shijiazhuang, lead development by science and technology and contribute sci-tech power to new breakthroughs in Shijiazhuang’s biomedical industry.
