In order to further refine the strength of high-level overseas talents and promote communication and cooperation with overseas talents from a global perspective, on May 25th, the "Stay in Baoshan" Overseas Talents Exchange and Matchmaking Conference Silicon Valley Station event was held in the Shanghai Peking University Science Park through live streaming connection of "Shanghai Venue+Silicon Valley Venue". The event attracted more than 40 overseas talents from Silicon Valley universities, high-level overseas talents, and nearly 20 outstanding enterprises in the mountainous area of Baobao. Nearly 3500 people watched online through the live streaming platform.

The Silicon Valley site of this event is located in Q Bay Center, which has received strong support from Peking University North America Alumni association, Tsinghua Alumni association Silicon Valley Branch, Beijing Institute of Collaborative Development North America Branch, Stanford CEO Association, Berkeley ACE Association, North American Chinese Biomedical Association and other units. During the event, Baoshan District and Shanghai Peking University Science and Technology Park unveiled the establishment of the "Cailai Baoshan Silicon Valley Talent Introduction Station", which is also a new exploration of Baoshan's international talent introduction work.

In the early stage of the event, the Baoshan District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau explored the job requirements of key enterprises and invited popular job recruitment companies interested in studying abroad to participate, combining the job search needs of studying abroad talents with the needs of enterprises. At the meeting, the District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau gave an in-depth introduction to Baoshan's superior innovation and entrepreneurship environment, promoting Baoshan from historical and cultural aspects, location advantages, industrial development, innovation transformation, science and technology innovation policies, and other aspects. At the same time, authoritative interpretation of Baoshan's open and powerful talent policy. Targeting the demand for overseas study talents, Baoshan District has continuously innovated in talent policies and implemented a tiered guarantee policy, providing open and effective talent introduction policies, flexible and diverse talent incentive mechanisms, and innovative high-quality talent service guarantees for overseas study talents.

At the event site, representatives of Baoshan District's outstanding enterprises, including Baosteel Co., Ltd., Shanghai Inoherb Cosmetics Co., Ltd., Shanghai Blue Que Biomedical Co., Ltd., as well as representatives of Shanghai Yiling Chaoyan Medical Technology Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Kalu Automation Co., Ltd., which are pioneering enterprises in Shanghai Beida Science Park, introduced the development process of enterprises in detail and threw olive branches to overseas talents at the scene. Nearly 20 key enterprises in the district have issued a total of more than 100 employment demands, involving many positions such as R&D engineers, biological Statistician, management trainees, etc. Some companies have also introduced generous subsidies for settling in and buying houses, as well as comprehensive training programs for young scientists. The positions and salaries are discussed individually, striving to recruit a group of overseas master's and doctoral talents with broad global perspectives and strong professional qualities to participate in cutting-edge technology research and development work.

Through live promotion meetings, many Silicon Valley international students are attracted by Baoshan's innovation and entrepreneurship environment and talent support policies. At the exchange meeting, enterprise representatives held a "cloud" exchange with Silicon Valley international students and other high-end overseas talents, and had in-depth communication on industrial potential, scientific and technological innovation prospects, corporate culture, job requirements, and other aspects, achieving a "two-way trip".

Wang Guhan from the School of Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, has just finished his studies in the United States. She is committed to researching and developing tourism technology products, aiming to connect and integrate domestic and foreign tourism resources through digital and intelligent methods. Through the connection, she was attracted by Baoshan's entrepreneurial policies and innovation environment for overseas students, and immediately contacted the Beijing University Science and Technology Park, the innovation base, to express her entrepreneurial willingness.
