On April 22nd, the 2022 "Million Talents Revitalizing Chongqing" series of talent introduction activities were launched. This year, Chongqing will carry out over 240 online and in person talent attraction activities, of which no less than 75 will be held at the municipal level. The city plans to introduce over 15000 urgently needed talents of various types.

Introduce talents through six major types of specialized activities "online+offline"

The relevant person in charge of the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau introduced that the "Million Talents Revitalizing Chongqing" activity is the core brand of Chongqing talent introduction activities. 890 talent introduction activities have been carried out, creating sub brands such as "Doctor Chongqing Travel Week" and "City Travel".

This year, Chongqing will closely follow the needs of the main pillar industries and 33 key industrial chains, and carry out more than 240 talent introduction activities through the combination of "online + in person". At the same time, specific talent introduction activities will be planned, and more than 75 talent introduction activities of six categories will be carried out, including city tour, university tour, industry tour, invite in, Internet plus tour, and overseas tour, to ensure the talent demand of Chongqing's key industries and fields.

Specifically, the "City Tour" will organize 27 "online + in person" talent introduction activities outside the city to Sichuan, Northwest, North China, and other places, guiding the rational flow of talents within the region and promoting innovative development of talents.

The "University Tour" will organize 12 university specific talent introduction activities to Chongqing University, Southwest University, and national key universities

The organization will organize outstanding young people, doctoral supervisors, graduate supervisors, and alumni from nationally renowned universities to come to Chongqing for inspection and discussion, and timely carry out special activities such as the" Doctoral Chongqing Travel Week "by the Municipal Education Commission, High tech Zone, Dadukou District, and digital economy talents.

The "Industry Special Session" will hold industry specific activities such as digital economy talent recruitment, postdoctoral workstation recruitment, medical and health talent exchange meetings, private enterprise talent introduction service months, and intelligent manufacturing industry special sessions based on the needs of key industries.

At the same time, relying on Chongqing Yingcai Network to carry out 7 online live streaming activities, and taking the construction of the Midwest International Exchange Center as an opportunity, we will carry out an international talent online promotion - Hong Kong and Macao special event to strengthen the introduction of overseas talents.

 

Support all sectors of society to introduce "list" talents for employers

The person in charge stated that as of the end of 2021, the "Million Talents Revitalizing Chongqing" activity has covered 32 "Double First Class" universities in China and 17 countries (cities) overseas, with 53 overseas liaison stations established.

This year, Chongqing will coordinate and recommend talent introduction activities around the theme of "Prosperity of Chongqing with Millions of Talents", and make good use of talent introduction platform resources such as "Double First Class" universities, overseas talent liaison stations, and alumni associations.

At the launch ceremony, the Chongqing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau also released a batch of "unveiling and recruiting talents" lists, with a subsidy of 30% of headhunting fees for each position, up to a maximum of 30000 yuan, to support various sectors of society in introducing "list" talents for employers.

It is worth mentioning that this year, Chongqing will seize the opportunity to accelerate the construction of the digital economy talent market, increase the introduction of digital economy talents, and plan no less than 20 talent introduction activities.

At present, a total of 6346 digital economy talent demand positions have been collected from 356 units in the city, involving software industry, artificial intelligence, intelligent connected vehicles, etc. The person in charge introduced that in addition, our city will carry out a special action to enhance the "Chongqing Talent" brand, promote Chongqing's economic and social development, urban image, talent policies, and talent services in key cities at home and abroad, and further enhance the attractiveness of Chongqing city Reputation and the influence of the "Million Talents Revitalizing Chongqing" talent attraction brand.

 

3011 postdoctoral positions are "vacant"

At the launch ceremony, the Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security also released the demand for postdoctoral positions in 2022, with a total of 3011 postdoctoral positions vacant at 485 postdoctoral research stations in the city.

This year's postdoctoral positions have a more comprehensive coverage of disciplines, stronger research platforms, better industrial integration, and higher salaries and benefits, some exceeding 500000 yuan. "The person in charge introduced that job seekers can quickly understand the basic situation, professional needs, research platforms, and salary and benefits of the postdoctoral station through the" Palm Treasure "mini program, achieving precise matching between positions and talents.

The person in charge stated that in the next step, Chongqing will deeply implement the Chongqing Postdoctoral Innovation Talent Support Plan, actively recommend the establishment of national level postdoctoral research workstations by our city's manufacturing industry single champion demonstration enterprises, national technology innovation demonstration enterprises, and national "specialized, refined, and new" small giant enterprises, comprehensively improve the exchange and service of postdoctoral talents, and use "thoughtful services" to help young scientific and technological talents stand firm, retain their hearts, and take root.
